Taking a coal-fired power plant that has completed ultra-low emission reform in Shandong Province of China as the research object
systematic diagnosis and analysis of operating conditions for flue gas desulfurization system were carried out
and the operational and economic indicators of the desulphurization equipment were studied through actual measurements and DCS data analysis. The results show that
the power consumption of a single slurry circulation pump is not linearly related to the desulfurization efficiency. Under the similar working conditions and with the same desulfurization efficiency
the largest difference in power consumption among different slurry circulation pumps combinations is approximately 16%. The ratio of Ca to S and limestone consumption in the desulfurization system increases with the pH value of the slurry in the tower. Via optimizing and adjusting the p H value
the consumption of limestone can be reduced by 7%
the desulfurization system's desulfurization efficiency was enhanced
and the operation cost changes slightly. The underflow density and gypsum moisture content becomes larger with the increase of inlet pressure of the gypsum cyclone
and has no obvious relationship with the number of cyclone unit. This paper provides data support for the efficient and stable operation of desulphurization system.
